Kitty Wells

I'll Always Be Your Fraulien

Kitty Wells remains the undisputed Queen of Country music to this day. Kitty was born Ellen Muriel Deason in Nashville Tn on August 30, 1919. She has had hit after hit throughout her long career starting with her first number one song "It Wasnt God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels" back in 1952, an answer to "The Wild Side Of Life" by Hank Thompson. Her hit single "I'll Always Be Your Fraulien" came a few years later along with many many hits. A truly great Country Music Artist.

Kitty Wells passed away on July 16, 2012. RIP Kitty.
