This "Girl Group" had a big hit on the R&B charts back in 1955 with their great rendition of Lonely Nights thanks in part to WINS NYC DJ Alan Freed and his Rock and Roll Party radio show. Back in the mid 50's Freed's show was extremely popular in the northeast and he helped many up and coming r&b artists gain popularity by featuring their songs on his nightly radio broadcast.
